Malwarebytes Browser Guard Beta question

I just discovered this plug-in not too long ago and was wondering if anybody else used it?

How successful is it? And would it be a good replacement for the Malwarebytes desktop app?

I don't use it, but it would be an additional protection layer not a replacement for the desktop app. They both address different threats. The browser guard is to help protect against phishing and malicious websites.

So using both would be beneficial

The browser is the introductory point for malware. If malware was gonna get on your machine, 9 times out of 10 it's through the browser, which is where this plug-in is located at.

I'd also have uBlock Origin as a line of defense as well.
