I am brand new to the forum and a bit of a newbie. I have 2 Intergra AVRs on my network. I have a Win 11 PC (my own build with an I7 10 700 PCU; MCI mobo). Win 11 Ver is 21H2 (OS Build 22000.795)
I have 2 Intergra AVRs on my network. One shows up in the list of "media devices" as Integra 2.3 and its properties show "Integra" as the device MFG. The other shows up as "Living Room Speaker" and properties shows the MFG as "unavailable." The "unknown" device is a higher end Integra, but they were installed the same (I think) and function exactly the same but on different floors of my condo. Both are connected to the home network via ethernet and Packedge switches.
1. Can I change the name of these "media devices" and if so, how?
2. What "survey" populates this list in Explorer? Is the name only in the registry? Is it in a file that can be edited?
