Why is Microsoft Store still using the old Groove Music app name for the new Media Player. Media Player is the new name on the start menu and the app and features list after updating from Groove Music to Media Player and then restarting Windows 11. The library in the Microsoft Store still shows the old Groove Music app name.

Someone told me about 2 years ago to switch to Foobar2000. I didn't try it till approx. 2 weeks ago.
So much time wasted on inferior solutions.

Besides the bazillion free plugins for this program, you can also edit the program's layout.
Such as... how many and what items, windows, tools, etc., show on the program's interface.

I like a simple interface, so that's how I set mine up...

The newest version of the Media Player now plays CD's. It's now officially much better than the old Groove thing it replaces.
