Fair enough. You could try creating a second local windows account and see if the issue continues.

If not could be weird profile corruption.

You can also try this, download and right click run as admin.

If this doesn't work I can have you do a more thorough version.

Have you logged into the microsoft account website and checked the security tab? Make sure everything looks good there

Ok, i reset edge from the .zip file provided and here we go again. Still showing that old email address even after I cleaned Edges cache.

1.) Is this a home pc and home microsoft account? Because it looks to be a business one.

If it is managed, things like entra joined accounts are different.

Try in chrome or another browser.

CCleaner 7 caused me problems but I quit using it. V 6.35 works great as well as WDC.

It used to be my business PC, but I sold and closed the business and the PC became my personal one. That "douggillespie@thedoorpros" is my old companies email and I just can't get rid of it.

Damn it, Damn it, Damn it. A few of you have been bouncing around this all day but Andrew129260 made me really think about the problem and that of course was my old business account and its work email "[email protected]" which i dumped when closing my business down and getting rid of its website etc.
It kept showing up every time I tried to log in so I went into a box at the top right side of Edge that was saying "Sign in and verify yourself" or words to those effect and when i clicked on that again there was a "profiles" button and when I clicked on that there it was. A delete profile button and when I clicked that Edge immediately opened up and all the sign in popups went away. I can now go to lay down for a while because its been a long night and day.

Before I go I want to thank each and every one of you as you were all a great help and even though i'm not a religeous guy I thank God for all the Forums out there like this one. So, I thank you all.
