Microsoft at it again - Copilot

To clarify, I'm not paying for 10G because its too expensive. I'm retired now, on a poor man's pension. I'm only doing 1Gbps here at best and it's not even fibre to my door because my landline, which is on an isolated hard-wired, router gives me an awesome deal. Less than 20 bux a month US and unlimited calling anywhere in all of North America. Sadly, every time we get a snow dump my net speed takes a big hit. Not sure why that is.

Holly crap. $20? I have to pay AU$139.00 for the same service with only just better speeds. Australians are ripped off for everything, and I mean everything.

That's strictly my phone plan. Remember: It's a land line. I do my banking on it because it is on an isolated router and the encryption works good enough for me. Never had a single security issue. My internet brings the bill to $158 CA because I wanted the 1 Gbps speed and I had to pay for television despite the fact that I don't have a single TV in the house. Ironically, despite the fact that I don't do TV at all, it's cheaper to go this route than to simply pay for internet and phone. Yeah, Canada's getting the shaft too. Time to leave the Commonwealth IMO.
