Recently I tried using Microsoft Authentication and when I attempted to backup my emails with MailStore I couldn't login to my Outlook account which required a password, but I no longer had a password. How do I use 3rd party apps that require a password when using "passwordless" logins?

It will usually require an app specific password (usually for mail accounts) or you still use the account username & password but then you’re asked for the code from the authenticator app or you need to open the authenticator app to approve (or deny) the log in.
This is usually what happens when I use the MS app.

Thanks for the reply. I decided it wasn't worth even a little effort to use the authenticator, so I went back to "old school" method and just use a password.
