Insider Microsoft Celebrating 10 years of the Windows Insider Program

 Windows Insider Blog:

In 2014, we launched the Windows Insider Program with a vision to bring the Windows community closer to the development process. The goal was simple: to invite passionate Windows customers into the fold, giving them an early look at upcoming features and the chance to provide valuable feedback. Now, 10 years later, the Windows Insider Program has grown into a thriving global community of millions of dedicated Insiders who have played a crucial role in shaping the future of Windows.

Over the years the Windows Insider Program has continuously evolved how we preview experiences (Rings, Channels & Canaries to name a few) as well as what we preview (Windows 10, Windows 11, apps, and services). However, consistent across the years has been the incredible contributions of you, the Windows Insider community, providing your time and feedback to help make each release of Windows great for all our customers.

As we celebrate a decade of the Windows Insider Program, we want to take a moment to thank the Insiders who have been with us on this journey.

As we mark this significant anniversary, we are excited about the future possibilities and innovations that lie ahead. We remain committed to keeping the lines of communication open, continuing to listen to your feedback, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Windows.

Every piece of feedback, every bug report, every suggestion—each one has helped shape the Windows we know today. You are the heart and soul of this program, and we couldn't have come this far without you. Here's to the next 10 years!

Thank you,
Amanda Langowski, on behalf of the entire Windows Insider Team
