I would like to temporarily change my font color in microsoft excel. How do I change my font color back to the default color?

Default Templates in Excel

Book.xltx and Sheet.xltx are two special templates you can create and add to the XLStart folder. As a result, Excel uses Book.xltx as the basis for new workbooks and Sheet.xltx as the basis for new worksheets.

The template solution is for longer term customisation usage. For a temporary short term change then see the photo.

To change it back to default just select colour Automatic instead of the previously chosen colour.
