Microsoft Phone Link fully re-installing often

My Phone Link has been- seemingly randomly- fully re-installing every few days. No damage, but inconvenient. Is anyone else noticing this?

Sorry, Tony. I can't answer that. I uninstalled Phone Link a long time ago as it was never dependable for me. Instead, an app called Intel Unison automatically appeared on my PC. I didn't even know what it was for, but found it is Intel's phone line app. It works great.

- Intel CPU Gen 12 and above, Core i5 and above
- 8GB RAM and above
- Intel 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 / BT 5.2 and later
- BT 5.2 or later

Oops, I didn't mean to be opaque. Every few days when I rebooted, Phone Link would re-install on its own. I could tell because that entails a needlessly long set of steps, each of which is designed to point out the features of the app. Each time the app was restarted a new page full of app info would appear until finally there was no more.

It just appeared one day for me and my cpu in gen 10....and it works. My phone paired immediately as did my ipad. I don't get it.
It's description says:
Windows 11 version 22621.0 or higher
4gb ram minimum 8 gb recommended
NOTES: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (Minimum), Intel CPU Gen 12 and above, Core i5 and above;RAM: 8GB or above;2x2 Wi-Fi 6 / GbE or above;Bluetooth 5.2 or above (Recommended)
I read that note to be that those are the recommended specs, not requirements.

You’re right, I don’t think that’s supposed to happen. Odd.

I believe glasskuter to be right, you should be fine.
You may however have some limitations like the ability to use a tablet as a split screen (secondary monitor) for Windows.
