The memo was that low performers would go first and if things didn’t pick up, more layoffs could happen. Some of this is due to labor hoarding during the pandemic. Tech companies tend to exchange workers on a yearly basis. Some are also due to interest rates and a slowdown in tech consumption. :weary:
