HI all i have a gaming laptop was casting my screen to my hd tv , but noticed lots of pixilation. I also noticed that the settings on the miracast is greyed out and i can't open it or adjust for gaming mode or for that matter any other mode. is this a driver issue as my laptop recently updated to windows 11.

Hello Tony B, I'm sorry no one who uses Miracast has responded to your thread. I have no knowledge of it either, but I thought maybe an issue I had when I upgraded from 10 to 11 might help you. From within Explorer all my fonts were very pixelated. Here's how I fixed it.

Settings-System-About -Advanced system settings. "Adjust Appearance and performance of Windows" was set at 'Adjust for best appearance'. I changed it to 'Let Windows decide' and rebooted, but the pixelation was still there so I changed it back to 'Adjust for best appearance.' When I rebooted again, the pixelation was gone. It was like the OS had its brain scrambled.

Not all PCs support miracast - did pc support it before you upgraded?

You can check as shown in link - works on W11 as well.
