Here is to a Much Better New Year!

I have been trying to find a way for my mouse's scroll wheel to function inside drop-down menus and context menus.
About a month ago the wheel was working inside Quicken drop-down menus but has since stopped.
Does anyone have thoughts or hopefully a solution?

Win 11 Pro, Release 220506-1250
Wireless MS Mouse 4000

Thank you.

Hi Tom,
The last time I had a mouse that would not scroll, I took it apart, and found the axle shaft for the wheel broken. I replaced that mouse with another one.
So the simple answer might just be that your mouse is "Broken".

Y'all have a great 2023.

It’s not that it doesn’t scroll, it’s just doesn’t scroll in context menus and drop-down menus. Otherwise it is working perfectly.

Ok, now ya got me. I just opened a full Context menu and there is no place to scroll to. The entire menu is right there on the screen in front of me.
Scrolling there is not possible.
Can you elaborate? or even post a screenshot?

Ok, my bad!
Scrolling inside drop-down and context menus DOES in fact work. IF you click inside the box first!! I knew that! I used it several months ago.
Just another of this old man’s brain farts!

I would also like toknow. I have my screen enlarged, words are a little bigger, which means bottom of menus drop off. In new windows 11 there isn't a way of scrolling down the menu. For example in 'view' menu I want to 'show full screen' which is down the bottom of the drop-down menu, now hidden because I have everything enlarged. I can't find this command anywhere else. I'm stuck.
Not the only example.

For overflowing menu's, there should be a bar on the bottom and top, with up/down arrows, that you can either click on or hover on to navigate up or down the menu...
The fact that you can't scroll the menu, is an annoyance in Explorer that should have been addressed years ago!!! 🤷‍♂️

Thanks. I'm not quite sure what prog you are showing me above. But my PC is set up in Spanish, and I use LibreOffice, Microsoft Edge, Windows 11 updated. I think I just have to explore more, search out the shortcut keys, and look.
And moan about the pop-up menus which you now have to click on for more options (like delete, change name)in File Explorer
