Multifunction Keyboard

Like a multifunction printer, a multifunction keyboard will help reduce clutter, here is one

Anyone has experience with it or a similar specialty item?

Will the driver be available, say 10 years from now?

It's cute, more a niche item than anything else as I don't see it catching fire. Forget drivers will that keyboard itself be around 10 years?

Anyway, I move my mouse around too much to have it built into a keyboard. That would quickly get annoying for me.

I also haven't gotten used to a Trackball but have a client that swears by only that [she gave me her old one that works good, put it in my parts box]. There may also be a combo board that includes the Touchpad.

The only thing special with it is the design. But all electronics involved there are just taken from generic plug and play mouse and keyboard put together in a single housing so you should not worry about drivers. Track ball is a 90s tech but still around for people with wrist problem when using a regular mouse. This design is not for clutter solution. It is for people with wrist and shoulder issues.
Perrix is a good brand. My wife is using one of their compact keyboard because she doesn't like regular sized wide keyboards. She finds wide keyboards uncomfortable on her shoulders. She has a large desk and clutter is not an issue. Her shoulders agree with her keyboard now.

It is even narrower than a 60% keyboard.

If the design of this device is 'put together' will it have 2 drivers? One for the keyboard and one for the trackball?

The device also appears to have a built-in 1-to-4 USB 1.0 hub, 1 internal port for the keyboard, 1 internal port for the trackball and 2 external ports (in the back of the device) which I would find useful, it's slow but it's right there where I would use it.

Like I said, it is plug and play (legacy windows keyboard and mouse drivers). All settings will be done with F keys or Windows control panel.
