Other than being really annoying, the quality looks fine to me.

In fact, I'm seriously considering adding a new rule that Avatars with annoying animations will be removed and replaced with Peppa Pig.

Anyway, looking at the OP's problem, the source file is 64x64 when the forum recommends 400x400, and to look any good I'd say a minimum of 100x100.

:ROFLMAO: I do hope my animation isn't too annoying.

Well, it wouldn't have been up until now. On checking what's actually displayed on the page it seems that an uploaded animated .gif gets converted to a .webp for display - and mine had lost the animation in the conversion. Is there a maximum animation length imposed in the conversion, and mine was too long?

Odd thing is that on uploading the .gif again, it's currently appearing on the page unconverted, displayed as the original .gif...
no...
wait a minute....
....it's now been converted to a .webp again - but this time the animation is intact. (y)

Mine is an odd 72 x 64, doesn't look too bad - for an avatar I've had around for 20+ years.....
