And it is impossible to wake it up other than with reboot after that.

At the same time, in the power configuration it is set that no action should be performed on closure of the cover.

So, what should I do so that it actually did nothing when the cover is closed?

Check that there is not an option in the laptop settings and also one in the Windows options, I have seen it where both had to be off to prevent it changing state on lid position, it could also be that the laptop setting is set to "shutdown" and is overriding your "Do Nothing" setting, in Windows.

Also check that the setting is the same for "On Mains" and "On Battery" if you want the action to be the same under both power supply options

I usually set mine to sleep or screen off on mains and Hibernate on Mains Power

Worst case it could be that your drivers are not seeing the setting properly, as they have not been updated for a change in the way that Windows 11 works (if a change does exist it's a case of waiting for the driver from the manufacturer)

I get the same with my ASUS VivoBook. 🤷‍♂️

I have the Turn Off Display set to 1 hour, plugged or battery..., I think if I close the lid for an hour or more, the laptop shuts down!

My display does turn off when I close the lid!

I'ma run a 10 hour YT video with the current settings, with the lid closed and see what happens...,
... then I'll set everything to Do Nothing/Never and do the same......

... stay tuned...... 🕐🕑🕒🕓🕔🕕🕖🕗🕘.............................................

Sounds like it's a lack of suitable drivers, you'll need to check with the manufacturers if they are supporting Windows 11 on that laptop, and if so when will the drivers be made available

To be honest, I didn't think my specs were that great, certainly not worthy to be published!

@Edwin It has nothing to do with how great your specs are. If you have an issue, it's a reference for folks to use when offering suggestions... A starting point, if you will.
