NAS Seagate 16TB Ironwolf drive -- reliable anybody

Hi there.

I need to install a decent capacity HDD for some streaming, file sharing and a web server -- won't be too much traffic so has anybody got any experience with Seagate 16TB Iron Wolf drive -- performance seems OK from the spec but are these things reliable. Traffic won't be hammering the device, and I'd get 2 in any case to mirror or whatever. There are some decent deals on these. The WD red NAS equivalent are a lot more expensive -- maybe for a reason ??.

I don't need commercial ISP performance - just reasonable reliability. I've had seagate devices before and they've usually worked OK.

I see that the 16TB Ironwolf has been available for about 3 years. Which is the duration of the drive's warranty.

I've used two Ironwolf drives: a 4TB one (about 2 1/2 years, mainly on my secondary system) and an 8TB one (one year). Neither has failed yet.

I see that the 16TB model is helium filled. Handy if you ever intend to use it above 3km altitude. (Traditional drives operate in air, at ambient pressure.)

I eagerly await a response from anyone who has used a 16TB or larger NAS drive. In the US (at least at Newegg), the WD Red NAS drives seem to be priced at about the same as the Seagate Ironwolf ones, for capacities of 16TB and 18TB. (The Red Pro and Ironwolf Pro drives cost more.)
