Need an email provider

I use Outlook MS 365 and our host is HSO IT Services & IT Support Maryland | Willetts Tech
They are $35-40/month. we have 15Gb of email on their servers. it's really only supposed to be 5Gb or so but every time it fills up they just give us more space. Obviously, this can be cleaned up and I have. I think we are at 7Gb or so now.
I use 2 email addresses and they manage our domain as well. I pay $25/year for the domain management.
I have ALL kinds of problems including many emails that just seemed to disappear. Their tech support is helpful, or they try to be, but the issues persist.
I'll explain if anyone cares.

But....I'm looking for a place to host emails where I will hopefully get simple send/receive of IMAP w/out the insanity I get from them. I do want to use Outlook

I just manage my own domain/DNS and use Google workspace business. It's about $144 / year for the Workspace license and maybe $50 for 3 years on DNS/ domain registrars

Things you would need to do to migrate

• Download all email as a PST
• Download your DNS zone file (text file)
• Setup an account in a DNS/ domain management site (I use easy DNS)
• Transfer your domain to easy DNS or other platform
• Import your DNS zone file
• Setup Google Workspace account
• Complete DNS verification for your email domain
• Setup user w/email
• Import PST
