The "Network Location" shortcut IP is dynamic and changes from time to time! I have to delete the current shortcut and create a new one with the new IP. Is there a way to set Windows to detect the device IP automatically?
Why are you creating shortcuts to IP addresses? Just create shortcuts to the computer names like I do. That way you don't have to know or care what the IP addresses are.

Behind the name is an IP address, and the name doesn't do anything special! It assigns a static IP to the name (like DNS) to make it work easier (no need to save the IP address in your mind, instead, you can save the name).
There is no name in the MF (Material Files) app settings! It just provides an FTP link with an IP. Also, my Phone (Android 14 latest update) hotspot doesn't have any IP configuration setting. I turn on/off the FTP from time to time (no need to be always-on), and after multiple turns on/off, the IP changes to a new one.
