We’re excited to roll out Dynamic DPI (dots per inch) support in OneNote for Windows – designed to bring you beautifully crisp visuals across all your screens.

Gone are the days of blurry screens or fiddling with display settings. Now, OneNote automatically adjusts to your monitor’s resolution on the fly, so everything stays sharp, polished, and easy on the eyes.

Whether you're extending your screen, plugging into a high-res monitor, or shifting between home and office setups, OneNote keeps up effortlessly. It's all about helping you stay focused, productive, and in the flow without interruptions or distractions.

This enhancement also brings OneNote in line with the smooth, sharp, multi-monitor experience you've come to expect from apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It’s a win for clarity, convenience, and your everyday workflow.

Dynamic DPI is designed with real-life workflows in mind. Here's how it shines in your day-to-day:
  1. Working with multiple monitors of different resolutions?
    Simply move your OneNote window from one screen to another. OneNote will instantly adjust to match the monitor’s resolution – giving you a clear, sharp display.
  2. Docking your laptop to an external monitor?
    Keep OneNote open while you dock your laptop. Once connected, it will automatically adjust to the new screen’s resolution – no blur, no need to restart the app.
  3. Using Copilot Notebooks?
