The latest Insider build 8.92 was fully released and this is what we were working on.
What’s new?
Notifications tab moved to the header on iOS and Android. The Notifications tab was previously at the bottom of the screen, so, this has been shifted to the top right corner of the screen.
Color Themes on all Platforms. Under the Appearance Settings, we've added new color themes in our efforts to further modernize your Skype experience.
New Call Screen UI design on iOS and Android. A long-awaited request has been delivered. On mobile platforms; Android and iOS, you can find the new call screen UI that matches the designs and layouts that are seen on Desktop platforms.
Verified status badge emails and phone numbers on all Platforms. In efforts to build trust and make it easier to identify the right contacts, a (Verified) badge has been added beside your phone number and email, under your Account Settings. Remember to verify your own phone numbers and emails. :)
Share QR code UI improvements on iOS and Android. We are making it easier for you to share your profile QR code with friends, colleagues and family.
Visual refresh with new illustrations for empty tabs on all Platforms. This is visible mainly for new users whose Chats, Calls and Contacts spaces are empty.

As usual, all new features are rolling out gradually over the next couple of days so if you don’t see them right away, just check again soon.
- Call permissions preventing users from joining a call, and had to manually enable it in the phone settings on Android
- Message notifications unresponsive on some Android devices
