Hi folks
If you want a selection of classic solitaire games that run fast, are free and not riddled with ads / promotions etc -- install kpatience on any linux distro. Although from KDE desktop you don't need to install KDE to run these.

e.g spider solitaire -- prefer this one to the Windows store offering on Windows. The solva also notifies you "If the gme is winnable". Option difficulty choosable also single suit, two suits, etc.

On Windows I still like the "Hearts" game -- obtainable from Winaero (classic Win 7 games for win 10/11 etc.

Nothing beats kicking back with a good ol' game of solitaire, am I right? It's like the OG time-killer, perfect for those lazy Sunday afternoons or when you're just looking to unwind after a long day. Plus, having it on Linux is a cool twist!

To say nothing of the use of these when attending boring pointless meetings !!!!! -- especially when Accenture (aka "Accidenture") consultants !!!! are around --endless flip charts etc etc -- but ZERO in getting project done on time etc etc !!!!
