Hey there,
There's no audio on my laptop asus UM5302TA.
I was trying to be smart and disabled windows services and updates cz microsoft is bad.
everything was fine and audio works but I get drivers from official website which include
  • realtek audio driver
  • dolby atmos driver
  • cirrusamp driver
i installed all of them, now i have no audio.
windows version 24h2 26100

i'm sure it's me just being dumb and should be an easy fix

actually i did made a full system restore image thingy at install but i don't wanna use it. i'm sure there's a way to fix this. it's only a driver issue. audio through bluetooth works fine.

Your drivers are in Asus support, install those followed by Windows updates.
"only 1 output: speakers (realtek(r) audio)"

There should be more than that, my guess would be Dolby Atmos and Cirrus in addition to Realtek(R) Audio.

All of which would have updates via Windows updates.

The overlay App on mine is Nahimic so it is impossible to say what driver component(s) however all were updated by Windows updates.

"I was trying to be smart and disabled windows services and updates"
"24H2 26100"

So you have system mods and forced the 24H2 update. That makes the already suggested system restore sensible.

drivers on windows updates aren't working either, i've checked. and there are no new driver updates.
i was hoping you would tell me to roll back the driver, but i don't know which i need to roll back. theres speakers (realtek(r) audio) in audio inputs section; and outputs and there's amd audio device, high definition audio device, realtek(r) audio in sound, video and game controllers section
it was working before the driver, do you know how can i fix it that way?
also, nobody is voting on my poll, i really wanna know

do you know which driver is causing the problem?
If it is a driver my guess is the Realtek driver. I have been through what I call Realtek H*ll trying to update their sound drivers. @MoKiChU helped me get my sound card working again. I know you said you only have one output source but it does sound like the output is going to the wrong device. I go through it everytime I update to a new Insider Canary Build. I have to open my third party app (FxSound) and select the correct output source.

So you do have more then one output source. Have you tried selecting different output sources? On my main computer I have to manually select Realtek.

which is the best drivers that works with realtek(r) audio?
I found that when it comes to Realtek Audio drivers there is no one driver fits all. I tried updating my Realtek driver years ago and found it to be a big mistake. If trying different outputs doesn't work, go into Device Manager and try rolling back to a working driver.
