Solved No Free VPN windows apps can connect to any server dont know why?

I tried many free vpn like hotspot shield, urban vpn, express vpn none want to connect why is that ? I am in latest windows 11 version. Is there something that can work on Windows 11 ? I need it for smal usage. Browsers vpn extensions work fine but I need it for Windows

All of those normally work perfectly fine on Windows 11 - is there a setting / multiple settings that are blocking it? Could it be something on your network setup as well?

Is this a personal machine or a work-provided machine?

personal pc. I did not block anything I tried to disable firewall

If you only want VPN when browsing you can use Opera browser and enable the build-in VPN feature. If you need VPN for any other application (not browser), I cannot help you, I only use Opera VPN when I want to hide my internet tracks.

thanks the problem is I had a software does not want to login so want vpn for windows I used vpn gate and the software still does not want to connect also support did not solve the problem they ignore it so I am not using this software anymore. "Octoparse 8"

Glad that you found a solution. I started using CyberGhost years ago. I don't remember if someone recommended it to me or because I did a search and it had high ratings from users.

I use Windscribe, and have for like 3 or 4 years or so. . . I've not had any problems with it.

I find NORDVPN works just fine. What you ideally need is a VPN that can "tunnel" -- i.e you can exclude apps from VPN control even while using the VPN. E.G on a LAN you might still want access to your shared disks etc.
