No Motherboard boot logo on Windows loading

Hi,
At boot I can't see the ASUS ROG logo, but I see Windows logo instead. Is there a way to fix it?
Show logo at boot, secure boot, UEFI boot are all enabled in BIOS and Windows is installed in a GPT partition.

Try disabling fast boot in BIOS.

Fast Boot is a feature in BIOS that reduces your computer boot time. If Fast Boot is enabled:
  • You can't access BIOS Setup during boot.
  • Boot from Network, Optical, and Removable Devices are disabled.
  • Video and USB devices (keyboard, mouse, drives) won't be available until the operating system loads.

Historical tidbit: back in mid-'90s, when I got started building computers, we were seeing the computers getting faster but the HDDs were still slow and weren't spinning up fast enough for the OS to get the boot process. It frequently required pressing the Reset to restart the boot process so we'd set the BIOS to display the full loading process for 10-15 seconds before the OS could start, give the HDD time to get fully up to speed. The customers weren't interested in seeing the brand logo.

Agree with disabling fast boot, although the OP's board like mine may have different levels of the feature so they might tinker there.

Anyway, I myself don't wish the see my board's logo so I've disabled that feature and do use fast boot.

I don't think that is necessarily true. Fast Boot is enabled in my BIOS, and I can access BIOS with the push of the DEL button

In the boot section of the BIOS there is an option to disable the Asus boot logo. Perhaps you have it disabled.

Yeah, my Gigabyte board works as yours does, but I guess it depends on board/BIOS settings?

Hi,

Update the NVIDIA GPU UEFI firmware of your GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition if it is not done yet :

NVIDIA Support

To ensure compatibility with certain UEFI SBIOSes, an update to the NVIDIA GPU firmware may be required. Without the update, graphics cards in certain motherboards that are in UEFI mode could experience blank screens on boot until the OS loads. This update should only be applied if blank screens are occurring on boot.

However, Windows loading is still the default Windows logo

I think now your focus has to shift to Windows rather than the BIOS, change the Windows defaults. Once the BIOS process has ended Windows or any OS knows what resources are provided and loads accordingly. For such issues with an OS I can't allow OCD to interfere, have to be able to see what my clients see in non-customized versions of the OS.

Once the boot process hands control over to the Windows Boot Manager, the motherboard's logo will be replaced with the Windows logo. I don't think there is anything that can be done about that. I've never seen a computer that boots without displaying the Windows logo at some point.
