Is it just me or does 11 seem to have less crashes than 10? I havent had one in 10 or 11 in years, knock on wood, but does 11 behave a little better? Less user base yet making it seem less?

If this should be somewhere else, feel free to move :)

Windows 10 was stable for me. Although I have only had Windows 11 installed for about 2 months, I have not had a crash. Yet!

I wonder also if the crash rate may be lower for those also (not ancient hardware, but maybe 1 gen off on the cpu)

Mine is a 2013 system. I have never had BSOD ever, and so that is a problem that I have only read about on the internet. I concluded that this problem mostly arises due to the user installing something incompatible.

Much of the problems on Android and Windows are user created since these OSes allow a lot of flexibility. If they were as restrictive as Apple's OSes, these too would be just as stable as those.

The frameworks used to develop kernel software are improving and getting better at what they do which is another aid in reducing the amount of BSOD crashes. So long as new(er) frameworks are used to develop kernel software, the chances of crashes overall decrease significantly.

How did you troubleshoot after rebooting?
I used this command:
Code:
powershell Get-Process ^| Kill-Process -Force
in admin CMD so it leads to a BSOD.

so I didn't need to troubleshoot it.

During the BSOD, I discovered that the BSOD is blue again. Latest Windows 11 RTM

Can someone please explain to me what this thread is about?
I haven't got a clue.

I've tried to read it sober and drunk, and it still doesn't make any sense.
Do I need to take something stronger? :woozy:
