Numerous Layers of "Application Data" in Users\All Users may be causing bloat


This is part of a larger cleanup script, so it took me a bit to edit this down to just the junction stuff and test it. Line 20 is the line that actually does the removal, and it's commented out, so this script isn't dangerous as-is.

Yeah I've been removing these junctions for a long time. I don't do it for a technical reason, per se, but they're unnecessary and that sticks in my craw. Also, if I ever run across a piece of software that complains about these paths, e.g. "hey I couldn't find Documents and Settings!," I know that software is old and best avoided. :)

I have the same problem of these nested folders and File Explorer not working. From reading other forums, and my own example, it seems to come from having Ransome Ware Protection on and also OneDrive.
