NVFlash nVidia BIOS Flash Utility


For flashing your nVidia graphics card's BIOS.

NVIDIA NVFlash is used to flash the graphics card BIOS on Ampere, Turing, Pascal and all older NVIDIA cards.
NVFlash supports BIOS flashing on NVIDIA Graphics cards:

  • GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080, RTX 3070, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3060
  • GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080, RTX 2070, RTX 2060, GTX 1660, GTX 1650
  • GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, GTX 1080, GTX 1070, GTX 1060, GTX 1050
  • and many more, including BIOS flashing on older NVIDIA GPUs.
Before flashing, backup the current graphics card BIOS with: nvflash --save backup.rom
To update the graphics card GPU VBIOS, use: nvflash bios.rom

guys how use this nvflash i have only nvflash64.exe even i try put command protectoff with nvflash or nvflash64 not working also flashing command not works :(

I haven't played with NVFlash for quite a while, but, last I knew, the unmodified version no longer permitted flashing a GPU with firmware from a different make.

If you're doing it just to set fan speeds, I suggest trying MSI Afterburner. It works with cards other than those made by MSI. (I use it with my Gigabyte GPU.) It doesn't change the firmware, so it won't brick the card.

my fan speed is 64% :( i cant go down i use msi afterburner but nothing change.

If I connect two monitors, the computer defaults to the HDMI display. How can I make the Display Port the default? Is there a utility to easily modify the values, like the good old Riva Tuner?
