Hi folks

Is there an official download link for Office 2019?

The Microsoft office download site seems to take me to Ofice 365

If you need to reinstall OFC 2019 you should be able to login to your MS account Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft
Go to "services and Subscriptions"
It will show what products you have purchased in the past and registered to your MS account. Click on your product and select install.

OFC usually means Of Course but some folks use it to mean Office.

Is your Office 2019 in your Microsoft account as @glasskuter asks? Or did you buy a single install?

Here is the link for Office 2019 from Microsoft .com. This will not show in your Microsoft account because it IS a single install
To show in your Microsoft Account you will need to buy a "Bind Key" or purchase directly from Microsoft.

This is a single install download meaning that when you install it, you will need a license key. If your old install was a single license, you may need to purchase a new key, you could try the website StackSocial

I bought my copy off Stack Social a while back and have a licence key for a single install.

This is a new pc and I haven't used the licence key yet. I was planning to install Office 2019 to this laptop.

However, when I used the link that Stack Social provided, I had to log into my Microsoft account.

Does that mean that that key is bound to that Microsoft account?

Very likely, yes.
The only way to know is to log in and see what it requires from you.
Do you have the link to the purchase page on StackSocial, Art?

Use the download like provided by StackSocial, not the link I posted.

Follow their instructions. They should of emailed them to you?

It is tied to whatever MS account you login to to install it. It can be used on only one machine at a time. If you ever want to move the installation to another machine, it must be uninstalled from your current machine first. You can not transfer the license to another MS account.

I downloaded the file straightaway as Stack Social said it was 'live' for only a few day (five if memory serves).

I still have the email (which also contained the software key).

Arthur, can you post the link you bought it from, the product page on Stack?

I just want to read the page. Not sure that a “download” is tied to your account, it’s a little confusing.
Didn’t they include instruction in the email with the Key?

I can’t even find Office 2019 in the Microsoft Store or in my Microsoft Account to purchase it.

Every official link I find from Microsoft that refers to Office 2019 reverts to Microsoft 365.
All the other official info I read about Office states:

Office 2019 is now available as a one-time purchase for commercial and consumer users.

That reads to me as an indication that it will not link to your Microsoft Account

There is no link for Office 2019 that I can get to via my Microsoft Account to purchase it, again, they all revert to Microsoft 365. Microsoft is a mess sometimes with outdated info and link pages that have not been updated.

I would contact Stack Social via their support page, if it doesn’t give clear instructions in the email — Ask them how you tie your purchase of Office 2019 to your Microsoft Account. My guess is that they will tell you you can’t.
Without being able to read the actual product page, this is my assumption.

If you verified the Stack Social Key with your MS Account, everything should be there for you to download.

Choose the Offline Installer...

I pulled it up at StackSocial. In the :Important Details" section it says
This licensing type will be connected with your actual device, NOT your Microsoft account.

Thanks mate. Purchasing a key to test.

However @glasskuter seems to have found what I suspected. I don’t think Microsoft binds Office 2019 anymore.
