Old Windows 10 Explorer back per Registry

Background:
I still had a CleanInstall of the Win11 build 22000.71, this recovers and after boot unfortunately still the new Explorer in it. Thought it's gone when the update goes through to the 22000.100, so it was strangely with my INplaceupgrade via Win10. But puff cake, very annoying for me, incomprehensible. Then google and lo and behold, found an interesting RegistryHack,

came already in the upper search results, thought that is certainly Murks like Win10 StartMenu again. But let's test it:
Restart and lo and behold, the old explorer is back.
here are the reg:

The zip was created with RegistryFinder
has no negative after-effects according to the event viewer, system runs completely normally.
Speaking of which: the CleanInstall has significantly fewer errors in the events.

so you updated from windows 10 to 11?

whats your windows build now?

that reghack is to restore the classic explorer but it no longer works on latest build.

try Winaero Tweaker. Latest version has some Win 11 tweaks. Explorer Ribbon (old explorer) is one of them

It was a Clean install Win11 build 22000.71, than update to Win11 22000.100, thats the last version, or not ?, and it works fine with tht Reg Hack.

I have now installed the new Version 1.30, it shows the RegHack, i have it done by yourself.

EDIT:
i have tried on an inplaceUpgrade the Old Startmenu Hack from Winaero, ( with Taskbar ), but not satisfied because you have to install Openshell and too many errors in the event viewer

Good to hear it worked for you. Of course, I should mention Brink's Tutorial on this 1st.. But Winaero is a nice util

I don't understand why MS neutered Windows 11 so much , The StartMenu is terrible.

MS separated the Taskbar and Start process from Explorer. Practically start from scratch. My guess would be, we'll get most of our features back soon

I hope sooo..,
also the confusing settings app is crap, since it is far better with Win10 !!, does MS extra make the privacy settings more confusing ?, i have blocked a lot with the intern Firewall, WindowsSpyBlocker - Download, WindowsSpyBlocker/spy.txt at master · crazy-max/WindowsSpyBlocker, i hope this helps.
