As the title says, I have a Windows 11 system with multiple defined shares (entire drives as well as folders and two printers) that are not seen from any of my Windows 10 systems. Always get this:
I have checked every setting multiple times, including setting Windows Credentials for both systems on both systems (win 11 and win 10).
Password protected sharing is off, Everyone has access on both systems. Both systems use the same Microsoft account. File and printer sharing is enabled.
This is really stupid to have to go through this over and over and over again. I don't understand why Microsoft can't get it right or at least provided a documented, verified, step by step procedure we users can follow to make network sharing work each and every time.
Why can't the diagnostics tell me what is wrong so I can correct it?
Any suggestions on how to resolve this? It's driving me nuts, especially since I can't print from the Win 10 system as both printers are connected via USB to the Win 11 system. I guess I'll have to make them wireless connections instead but I prefer USB for the scanner functions.
