OneDrive Desktop app 19.23.19.0 is missing Photos section

I'm missing the Photos section from the OneDrive desktop app 19.23.19.0. The left side of the app contains the following just under my name:

In contrast, the OneDrive web site has the above plus the Photos section:

Can anyone explain the discrepancy?

They have been moved in the 22H2 update. Now find them in the photos app :D

Photos app shows my local photos only. When I click on "OneDrive Personal" and try to "Sign in", I get this message box:

I'm pretty sure that's how I ended up downloading the OneDrive desktop app a few weeks ago. Still a dead end. BTW, today when I click the "Browse" button, this is what comes up:
