This has been for a week now. For some reason the OneDrive icon in the lower right corner on the System Tray is showing a blue circle with an "i" in it. Clicking on it doesn't show any notifications whatsoever.

- I have walked through the OneDrive Privacy settings again but no avail.
- Disconnecting OneDrive from my PC and reconnecting it again solves this temporarily until I restart the PC.

My OneDrive space is almost full but I think this should give a different warning.

Is anyone else having this issue?

been discussed before, but not sure what the resolution is...

per Microsoft:
This icon appears when OneDrive wants to share tips, updates, or highlight unused features. It’s not an error or sync issue—just a prompt to check out something new or helpful. To see the message:

  • Click the OneDrive cloud icon in your taskbar or menu bar.
  • A panel will open showing the notification or suggestion.
  • Once you've viewed or dismissed it, the blue "i" icon should disappear.

EDIT:
try these regedit -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers

check both for OneDriveInfo key. if there, rename it to OneDriveInfo_bak

restart explorer or sign out/in
