Well, since the 22H2 upgrade, there were quite a few things to fix, tweak, whatever.
Tip for Nvidia owners: Any visual artifacts since 22H2, make sure you are running driver version 517.48 or newer.

Ok, back to the one thing left to fix. I don't want to use StartAllBack or ExplorerPatcher, or really any other 3rd party programs.
I have my Taskbar set to "small".
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced TaskbarSi = 0 (zero)

...and I'm plagued with the "saggy clock syndrome"

Well, I guess there's 3 more things to fix. Then I'll be a happy camper.
I'd like to permanantly lose the items in the RED boxes, below...

I don't even know what the plus/minus 30 min thing is for. LOL

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

unsupported machine: Legacy bios, MBR, TPM 1.2, upgraded from W10 to W11 using W10/W11 hybrid install media workaround. In-place upgrade to 22H2 using ISO and a workaround. It is very unlikely that you'll be able to fix those things without the help of 3rd-party programs. You're using the old taskbar which MS has no reason to fix in Win11. As for the items in red, notifications are an integral part of the OS since Windows8 days I think, and especially now in W10/W11, so I doubt you'd be able to get rid of that without some heavy moding. The focus thingy maybe, since that's a recent addition that's just kinda bolted on, so it may not be too deeply buried in the OS.
I would highly suggest StartAllBack, even though you said you don't want it. It has many different settings, you can use the 7, 8, 10, or 11 style taskbar and start. Meaning you can use the "old" calendar panel without the focus session widget.

The 'No new notifications' box is actually a return to how it always used to work in Windows 10. 21H2 was the exception to the rule in that this was one of a number of things got left out in the rush to release it. It's back now in 22H2, apparently by popular demand.
