Orion browser for Windows Update 3

Since our last update, we’ve kept expanding Orion for Windows ✴︎with the everyday browser features users expect, while also building the shared infrastructure that will power Orion across platforms.

This milestone was about making Orion more capable today and laying the foundation for what comes next.

What’s new:

• Cross-platform synchronization work has begun, with file-based sync now implemented.
• Orion for Windows now shares its browser core with Orion for Linux, allowing us to actively develop sync across platforms.
• A dedicated sync server is planned for the future, with macOS support to follow later.
• Profiles support has been added, so users can keep browsing data, settings, and sessions separate.
• Extensions support is moving forward, including work on both Firefox and Chrome extensions.
• The first version of the built-in Password Manager is now in place.
• Core browser features continue to improve, with major progress on tabs, bookmarks, and history.
• Compact Tabs mode, inspired by Safari, is now available.
• Dark Mode is implemented ↓

As the browser is still in alpha, the UI is still being developed, so the current screenshots do not yet reflect the final look. We’re continuing to experiment before settling on the final design.

Orion for Windows ✴︎ is becoming a much more complete browser, and we’re excited to keep building toward seamless cross-platform functionality.
