Windows 11 Version 24H2 (x64) 26100.4202
Good morning, everyone.
Some users from my company are experiencing issues with Outlook Classic on their laptops. It consumes a significant amount of RAM to the point of completely freezing the entire computer. They don’t need to do anything special, just opening Outlook Classic triggers the issue.
Recently, I tried creating a new .PST data file in one user's laptop, and it seemed to work for a couple weeks, but the problem has returned.
The Office 365 package is fully updated, and the laptop is also up to date. The user has about 20GB of data in their email, while others have more than 50GB without experiencing any issues. When I open Task Manager, WebView2 appears under Outlook Classic, and it is the process consuming resources and freezing the system.
I've been trying to solve this with no luck. Does anyone here know what else I could try? Some users refuse to switch to Outlook New and insist on using Outlook Classic, even though Outlook New works perfectly for them (sadly, I can't fix stubbornness).
Thank you all :)
