Outlook View Changes On Its Own

The layout you can see in the first attachment shows the calendar, which is inside the red box, which is the Layout To Do Bar.

This is the View I use and want to always be there.


If I use the People option to edit or add a new contact, my view ends up looking like what can be seen in the second attachment. Notice the third pane, The To Do Bar, is missing.
Addressbook.webpI can easily reset the view to what I want but am wondering why it changes? Also, if there is anything that can be done to stop that view change, please tell me. Thanks
