Password expiration

I have received an email as below:

When I open it I get this:

I cannot try do a thing to proceed byond that. Nothing works

Screams scam .... from your image : password for davexxxxxxx.html ??? html "addresses" don't have passwords !!

I suspect it will direct you to a phone contact (fake/scam) service centre that will direct you to install remote managing software (or activate existing software) to give them access to your device to "help" you renew your password.

Then ... they're into your device. You've had it. Only resort would be then a wipe and clean install ... and check your bank account ... and change all your passwords ... and etc etc. A proper PITA.

OR

It's malware in its own right and infect your computer, if clicked/open. And there's the possibility that because you initiated the action (i.e. authorised the activation of the malware), it might bypass any protection you have installed.

Thanks all for your comments. My Windows drive 970 EVO Plus decided to terminate itself last night.
I have a spare so I spent a while setting it up. It is within the warranty period so I should get a replacement.

You may have found out what it does. Never open or click on anything that looks suspicious.

Edit: When you get your computer setup again I would change all passwords and tell everyone on your contacts list to lookout for any email sent from you. Your email address can be spoofed.
