The CPU on my Intel NUC is listed on Microsoft's supported list, but PC Health Check does not agree with that. Ran WhyNotWin11 and got the same result. Does anyone have any clue about this issue?

7th gen Intel processors are not one of the acceptable processors for 11. The cut off is the 8th gen and up and the reason, from my understanding, is they don't have the necessary security features that 11 is using.

Welcome to Eleven Forum win11wins

Your link is for the list of supported Intel processors for Windows 10. This is the list for Windows 11, and I'm afraid your processor isn't on it.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October.

It looks to me like it's below the spec. I believe it is all to do drivers that are supported by Win 11. 8th gen and above are dood

Thank you guys. I appears I was referring to an older post, and Microsoft has update the list of supported CPUs.
Thanks all.

They didn't include the 7th gen processors.
To be pedantic, the I7-7800X, I7-7820HQ, and I7-7820X CPUs are on the list. The X CPUs are LGA2066, which is uncommon. The 7820HQ is a mobile CPU, FCBGA1440.

While that is correct it doesn't cover the OP's processor. It isn't on the list.

I didn't mean to imply that any other Gen7 CPUs are supported.

The LGA2066 ones are not what I'd call mainstream CPUs. I know less about the I7-7820HQ mobile processor.
