my pc kept crashing and it said “your pc has a memory problem” so i looked around online and it said it could also be a driver problem and gave me a step by step on how to use driver verifier and i followed the steps but after i restarted my pc it kept saying there was an error and eventually just kept failing boot i’ve tried turning off driver verifier in the safe mode command prompt but it does nothing and i didn’t make a back up point to reboot into is there anything i can do before i have to reset my whole pc

Please post the link used with the step by step on how to use driver verifier.

What happened while in safe mode?

Were you able to open files or use the computer while in safe mode?

What commands were used with command prompt?

is there anything i can do before i have to reset my whole pc

Hard reboot
System restore
Startup repair
Commands to turn off Windows Driver Verifier
Test Drive
Test RAM
etc.

1) Perform a hard reboot:

Option #9

2) Perform a system restore to the oldest system restore point:

3) If the above fail the find a working Windows computer and flash drives that you can format

4) On the working Windows computer plan to create tools that can be used on the problematic computer

5) Create a bootable Windows 11 Media Creation Tool (MCT) (Windows 11 iso)

I'll add another suggestion to @zbook list. You can also restore a system image if you creted one.

But know this. Even if you can get back to a point before you ran Driver Verifier, and your system still crashes with the original error,
any "memory problem" involving RAM will also still be there after a clean install or a reset.

The proper first step should have been to eliminate your RAM being the issue.
2 methods can be used depending on just how often you saw the original memory crash. If it was only transient, you can test all ram using Memtest86 from boot usb drive. Depending on the amount of ram you have, this can take hours so can be run overnight. One failure tells you you have a bad stick. Memtest86+ | The Open-Source Memory Testing Tool

If the original problem was a hard problem happening often, normally, if multiple sticks are installed, troubleshooting is to remove sticks and test with just one in the first slot. The first slot is usually the one closed to the CPU. Use the process of elimination by swapping sticks until you find the bad one causing the failure. You do not give system specifications so we do not know how many sticks of ram you have (1-2-4) nor do we know the original error or what you did with driver verifier.
