Windows 11
I have Windows 10 LTSB (1607; August 2016) installed on this laptop but wish to upgrade it to Windows 11 (doesn't have to be LTSB).

Is this possible without a full wipe and reinstall?

One possibility is to download the version of W11 you want to install from UUPDUMP and then run upgrade (keep apps and settings).

If you get a message that "This version of Windows can't be upgraded" then you'll have to try something else.

Before messing around of course take a backup image of existing system so you can restore if it all gets hosed up.

My gut feel would be to copy the installation to a VM and test it that way to see if it works -- don't worry about activation - this is just a test to see if the method works. However if you just want to go straight in and do the update - the UUPDUMP method should in theory work. But can't emphasize enough backup existing system before doing it.

From within the W10 system run the setup.exe from the iso created by UUPDUMP. Note run the setup from WITHIN the W10 system. not via booting the iso itself.
