Solved Query on external storage HDD

I have a external hard drive removed from a pc some time ago and used it as external storage via usb enclosure and when i checked this under computer management it shows various partitions and most of my personal business stuff is the big blue partition....can i simply delete the others so that only my data that is saved is shown as there is no OS on it ....or won't my Windows 11 pc recognise the hard drive is will not load?

Yes ,you can delete those partitions. Just to be safe, make a backup of the drive first.

But do be aware that Windows processes may not delete all the small partitions. I have a drive dock connected to a Linux computer with the GPARTED [GNU Partition Editor] program installed for wiping drives back to their as-shipped condition.

If it was my disk, I would install MiniTool Partition Wizard Free:

Use that program to delete all the extra partitions, including the hidden MSR partition that Windows Disk Management does not show. Then expand your data partition all the way to the right and left to fill the entire disk. Windows Disk Management will not let you expand a partition to the left, it will only let you expand to the right. MiniTool Partition Wizard Free overcomes all the limitations of Windows built-in disk management.

Sorted the issue out... luckily i found a 1 TB external hard drive in my box of gadgets and copied my data from the HDD external storage to the 1 TB drive and used MiniTool Partition Wizard and deleted partitions and just in case i formatted the HDD drive and now i have a 931 TB for storage.
