Hi folks
If scanning in WD for "malware" etc does anybody know if vhdx files are scanned properly or should they be attached and mounted as "Disks" and then scanned via WD as "Custom scan" with the HDD / Volume letter used as the directory --e.g if a vdx is attached as a disk and assigned letter L should WD custom scan be set up for directory L:/
When doing complete scans of this type I prefer to run WD scan from a different device to the one I want the scan on i.e if I have Windows A and Windows B then to scan Windows B I'd run the scan from Windows A.
Cheers
