OS
Windows 11
I got one while watching a Youtube video yesterday, a notification toast came out asking if I was having audio problems, then a few seconds later a crash. Also, I went to shut down and the "spinner" just kept rotating, after 3 minutes of not shutting down, it went into a BSOD.

I've had 3 today, not video or sound related.

Note: I was having several BSOD when the computer OS was Windows 10, updating to Windows 11 apparently hasn't helped.

There were no mini dump files collected and the logs reported problems with their creation.
The steps below should allow finding the misbehaving driver(s).

Please perform the following steps in sequence:

1) Run:

a) https://www.tenforums.com/attachmen...-files-use-bsod-debugging-tuneup_plus_log.bat

b) Gather_additional_dump_files.bat ─ Click here to go to the BSOD batch repository to download and run this batch file.

2) Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
Echo %SystemDrive%
WMIC PageFileSet create name="%SystemDrive%\\pagefile.sys"
shutdown /r

Post images or share links of the commands with results into this thread

3) Uninstall and reinstall the Brave browser

4) Post images or share links of the Wise registry cleaning settings

5) Make a new restore point:

6) Run:

a) HD Tune: (free or trial version) (test all drives)
Post images for results on these tabs:
a) Health
b) Benchmark
c) Full error scan

b) Sea Tools for Windows
long generic test

7) These tests can be performed overnight: (they also can run simultaneously)
a) HD Tune Full error scan
b) Sea Tools for Windows long generic test

8) Read these links on Windows Driver Verifier (WDV): (Do not use the tool until it is communicated in this thread)

Learn the methods to turn off the tool in safe mode using verifier /reset and verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

Thank you zBook for the recommendations. It seems ever since I ran chkdsk c: /r I haven't had a BSOD, and software loads quicker.

I used "WhoCrashed" to check what may be going on and have attached its report, but the report shows from a few days ago.

I have been using "Hibernate" since buying the computer (a little over a year ago) and have been told that's not a good idea for computers with SSD drive to use Hibernate. So I have turned off Hibernate and will just use Sleep from now on. Not sure if that would cause this.

Can you tell me what you think of the WhoCrashed report? I will uninstall and reinstall Brave as you suggested. I'm going to give this laptop another chance before performing all the steps you mention if you think that's okay.

Whocrashed only runs a basic windbg command on all dump files.
It can find many causes of BSOD with the basic command.

Whocrashed cannot process BSOD that fail to create dump files.

Whocrashed does not process livekerneldumps.

When manually using Windbg, additional commands are run to find the cause of BSOD.

Combining Windbg with WDV typically finds the more challenging causes of BSOD.

The logs were scanned and problems were found.

Troubleshooting steps were displayed in post #2.

Please post a new V2 and maintain them during the thread troubleshooting.

When available post images or share links for the steps / tests in post #2.

@Brink Can you delete this thread? I ended up doing a driver update directly from the AMD website and Intel (my wifi drivers) website. It's been several weeks now with no Stop Errors aka BSOD. So I think that was my problem.

A big thank you directed to zBook for all your help too.
