Realtek HD Audio / Manager issues - MSI

Looking at other issues related to Realtek OnBoard Audio - I thought I would add this

My system has a MSI B450M pro-M2 and I downloaded the latest Realtek HD Audio Driver, unfortunately is does not install the Audio Manager which allows you to manage the settings easily. This makes setting the audio up virtually impossible.
I eventually reverted to 6.0.9239.1 which gave me an extra "HDA" folder in the realtek folder on the main drive, the manager is RtkNGUI64.exe

I haven't any issues with this driver and have my logitech 5.1 system working from it...

According to MSI support, Realtek Audio Control has to be downloaded from MS store. However, you could never directly find it in the Microsoft Store app. You had to go to the online Microsoft App Store page for this application. But, the app is not available when you search for it in the store. Here is a link you can try to get the app. Get Realtek Audio Control from the Microsoft Store
Know that the app has not been updated since 2017 so it may not work in 11. Realtek abandoned it's development of the Audio console a long time ago. They only update drivers now. (and they don't do that very often)

Interesting that the board you have offers the HD driver install, not the UWP-compatible driver.... I'm not sure the Microsoft Store version (which is a UWP specific app) would work with that HDA driver.

Note on the Utility tab, it specifically says "UWP version" for the RealTek Audio Control App from the Microsoft Store....

Good old MSI. Linking to incompatible things. Lol.

I checked his stuff out and he is missing quite a few things, especially the specialized 3rd party drivers, and some of his stuff is definitely not the newest.

But he did have a few newer components than I have now, so....
