OS
WIN 10 but switching to WIN 11
I will be upgrading to WIN 11 in the next few weeks and need to know how to reinstall my mirrored array once WIN 11 is installed. The upgrade will be a fresh install of WIN 11 Pro on a brand new hard drive. Will be reinstalling all programs fresh to clear out the attic as it were. The new hard drive will be a 4TB ssd and will eventually be taking the mirrored array from 2TB to 8TB. Will also be switching out my 32GB memory for 64 GB. Will be upgrading to a RTX 4090 for content creation (digital art). Oh my aching credit card. First upgrades will be the new SSD with WIN 11 & the memory upgrade with the otuer upgrades within the next 1 to 3 months.

Instead of using a mirrored array... you might want to try Karen's Replicator.
It's a small, free program that you can set up "jobs" that run on a schedule or manually.

One of your "jobs" could be mirroring your working drive.
For example... here's my "jobs"...

1. copy F: to J:
2. copy G: to K:
3. copy G: to L: and I: to M:
4. I also have a job which copies any "game save" folders or files from C: to F:
5. For the C: (Windows drive), I just use Macrium Reflect backup software.

My drives, setup...

RAID arrays, these days, are more problem than they're worth.
