I had not seen it, and I read the whole thing and found it (strong accent adopted here) Veddy Interrresting!
But I keep thinking that I can't imagine (at present) needing more than twenty-four icons pinned to Start. I think that number will make it necessary for me to access the "All apps" list very rarely, and to go into File Explorer (to launch a program that's not in Start or the All apps list) even more rarely. I've got my other crucial icons pinned to the taskbar, and fairly crucial items pinned to the right-click File Explorer icon in the taskbar. My right click on the Start button brings up only the most wanted items (thanks to WinX Menu Editor). And I think that'll make me a happy camper, once the patch that makes the changes to Start becomes generally available.
