The topmost portion of the Navigation Pane in File Explorer, the one that contains `Home`, `Gallery`, `OneDrive` entries: is it possible to disable/hide that area entirely? I.e. just keep the Quick Access area and folder three in Navigation Pane.

(I don't know the official name for that top-left area, which makes it difficult to do a search.)

Interesting request. I have been trying for quite a while to do the opposite. I like a blank screen [unlike W11 with all the non sense stuff in the middle] but am satisfied with the left most area, what I don't like is "Devices and Drives" and "Folders" area. It opens up sometimes and shows me the same info that is on the left screen, I keep minimizing it :O( Different strokes situation.

Yes... you can do it. Go through the "File Explorer" section in here...

This is how mine looks, currently...
