Samsung Smart TV doesn't see DLNA servers from 11, but they work fine from 7

I have a Samsung Smart TV, model UN55MU6071 that sees a DLNA server hosted from 7 and works fine, but I'd like to use my modern desktop to fulfill its duties.
Problem being that the TV isn't displaying the server from 11. The server is accessible from the 7 machine so I know the server is at least partially functional.
Both servers are the ones that come standard with WMP.

I don't use WMP so I don't have really know for sure what's wrong. AS a test I started WMP and clicked on the hamburger icon on the right bottom and clicked on Cast to device and all of my TVs and devices are listed. Is your Samsung listed in WMP?

Neither do I anymore, thanks for offering to help but at the recommendation of a friend I've switched to Jellyfin. The DLNA still doesn't work from there but the native app is better anyway.

I use the Mezzmo Server on my Mini PC. If you ever want to try it there is a free version and a licensed version. The licensed version is only needed for internet access. My son uses Plex.
