Hi,
I am a newbie to these issues so please bear with me in advance.
I have a HP DESKTOP-MVF3HHI with an Office 365 subscription that I use purely for creating documents. I have always used two Samsung monitors without any problems.
For ages I have been receiving notifications that the NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 driver needs updating. A couple of months ago I followed the process and not all the drivers updated. Two days ago I updated the driver from the NVIDIA website it installed and restarted with no problems. Yesterday I had a large update from Windows and now after restarting only one monitor works.
The monitor displays the text: No Signal Analog check the cable connection and the settings of the source device.
I have unplugged everything and changed the cord which is HDMI connection from the monitor and a VGA (D-Sub) (I think) going into the computer end if that makes sense. Windows does not detect the second monitor however in the NVIDIA control panel it registers two monitors.
I don’t know what to do and would greatly appreciate any advice please.

I simply can’t find that model of HP on the net. Could I be a bother? Do you have a link to the HP page for this PC?

NVIDIA GeForce GT 730

Your monitor was working before the update so I don’t believe it has anything to do with your monitor.

Im looking at the specs for your PC and it says that it’s using Intel UHD Graphics 630. So you added the GT 730 card?

Did you manually download the graphics drivers or was it automatic?

Do both monitors plug into the GT 730 card or does one connect to the back of the PC (aside from the card)
I have no idea. One monitor has a HDMI connection from the monitor end and turns into a VGA (D-Sub) (I think). The second monitor has HDMI both ends. I attached a picture.

Will my computer run if I uninstall it?

No picture.

That doesn't sound right. HDMI is purely digital, while VGA is purely analog. One can be converted to the other but it takes active electronics.
I have always had them connected this way as it was the only way I could. There is only one HDMI connection.

You’re doing just fine, thank you, Dayna.

I am just trying to establish if both monitors are plugged into the same card. Some PC’s come with onboard graphis, which is seperate to the card.

So are they both plugged into the bottom or is one plugged in at the bottom and one at the top
