Solved Server 2025 LTSC cannot change time zone (even though part of administrator group)

Hi there
Windows server 2025 (with desktop experience) - unable to change the timeszone from USA - get "you need permission from your administrator" -- even though I'mlogged in with a user account that has admin privileges.

I CAN login as administrator but that seems BONKERS !!

Win key -> timedate.cpl -> Run As Admin

You should set the time in the Bios. If it continues to change, you may have to change the CMOS Battery.
